Soil sampling kits contain
everything you need for basic
soil sampling. Sampling kits
come in a convenient foamlined,
hard plastic carrying
case. Choose from three
different kits depending on your
application: basic, standard, and
deluxe （see table below for contents
of each kit）.

1 Soil Sampling Handles
Choose from five different handle styles each designed
for sampling to different depths. Use the basic handle
when sampling soft soils. The backsaver handles are designed
with a foot pedal to drive the sampler using your body weight
and gravity （see table below for specific depth of each handle）.
All backsaver handles come with a sampling tube cleaner. Choose
the T-handle for difficult ground conditions. All handles are
constructed of nickel-plated carbon steel for long life.
Complete your soil sampler by ordering a sampling tube. Use
an optional extension rod for increased depth. The T-handle
99025-60 requires a sampling tube and extension rod （order
separay below）.
2 Sampling Tubes
Superior blade design offers easy hand-operated penetration,
even in hard soils. Sharp blade produces a smooth, well-formed
core. Nonremovable blade stays sharp—there’s no need to bother
with stripped threads typical of removable tips. Tubes are made of
easy-to-clean nickel-plated carbon steel.

This device from Wildco®—also known as
a gravel template or pebble meter—is used to grade
or measure gravel and cobble-sized bed sediments in the field.
Your cobble measurements will be far more accurate than using a
ruler. Meter incorporates 14 square holes of common sieve sizes
（1⁄2 phi unit classes） ranging from 2 to 180 mm. Measure up to
310 mm （in 10-mm increments） using the built-in scale.
